Worn by cadets from the school at the time of the Battle of Natural Bridge and throughout the Civil War.
Recovered Cannonball
A 12-lb solid shot cannonball was a typical source of ammunition of the time.Would have been shot from a Napoleon Cannon. Found at sight of Natural Bridge.
Recovered Rifle Pieces
The rifle as a whole was used during the Battle of Natural Bridge. The rifles pieces exhibited were recovered from the long arm.
